Case Details:
On 10/8/08 at approximately 6:41 p.m., members of the North Andover police department were dispatched to the Walgreens Pharmacy, 800 Waverly Road, North Andover, for the report of an armed robbery in the parking lot.
The victims reported that a heavy-set, Irish looking male with strawberry blond hair walked up to the driver’s window of the victim’s vehicle and asked for a cigarette. The male then opened the victim’s door and put a silver pistol into the ribs of one of the victims and demanded the prescription that the victim had just picked up in the pharmacy.
The victim then handed the suspect a prescription bottle containing an antibiotic. After the suspect examined the bottle the suspect tossed it back to the victim and walked to his vehicle.
The suspect then fled the area in a vehicle that was described by two witnesses as a Charcoal Gray, late model, Dodge Ram extended cab or four-door pick up with unknown registration.
