At approximately 9:40 AM, Officers responded to the intersection of Harvard and Prospect Streets for an Assault in Progress. Further investigation, revealed that the suspect in the attached photos, approached a mother and her 1-year old baby, who was in a stroller. The suspect then grabbed the stroller with both hands and began to pull the stroller away from the mother. The mother fought back in an attempt to wrestle it away from the suspect, who then attempted to flip the stroller over into oncoming traffic. Once witnesses intervened, the suspect then fled in the direction of Central Square. Suspect appears to be a White/Middle-Eastern Male, wearing a multi-colored beanie-style hat, blue/green shirt, khaki shirts, and wearing a brown backpack. Note that the suspect is also barefoot.
