On June 3, 2025, the Plainville Police Department took a report of a larceny of a wallet out of the Stop & Shop. The elderly victim was distracted by a female suspect while a male suspect stole the wallet from her shopping cart. The two suspects then proceed to use the victim's credit cards to purchase $3,000+ worth of items.
