Wanted for a larceny from the person. A white male in his 20's was caught on video stealing a purse. The suspect removed the purse from the women's carriage as she was food shopping at the Porter Sq. Star Market in Cambridge. The suspect followed the victim for several minutes before reaching into her carriage and removing the purse. The women's young child was seated in the carriage at the time of the incident. The victim gave chase along with loss prevention personnell.

Suspect was identified by Harvard University Police. The suspect was already in custody at Essex County Jail. Charges will be brought against suspect in Cambridge. For ID information, please contact detective Glynn.
