Suspect was identified as Helio Cafua, D.O.B. 3/1/75. Cafua was identified and apprehended on 12/08/04 and has confessed to six robberies including Somerville, Medford and Cambridge. Cafua is being held at this time.

He shaved off his facial hair prior to arrest, for updated id information, please contact Detective Duffy.

Subject entered store and asked clerk question regarding item in store to draw clerk out from behind the counter. Then the subject followed the clerk behind counter and showed a knife, demanded money and fled on foot. Subject has used this method in each robbery. Subject is wanted for several convenience store robberies in Somerville. Always wears a Red Sox cap, has an earring in his left ear and a ring on his left hand. Subject is 6'- 6'2" 280-300lbs.
