On Sunday February 27th, suspect went into the Bose Store at the Wrentham Village Outlets and purchased a 32 inch plasma TV. The suspect paid with a check and showed a North Carolina I.D. card #25264028 identifying her as Donna McCoy from 4074 Highlands, Franklin, NC 28734. The store manager called and verified the check through a third party check clearing center. The check was given a clearance for the amount written ($3,463.98).

Employees helped the suspect bring the box to her vehicle, a blue Chrysler Pacifica. The vehicle had a cardboard license plate that appeared to be written in magic marker bearing the date 2/27/05 at the top and Georgia possibly written on the bottom, but no other writings except for some type of seal.

The suspects ID and check book were recovered in the parking lot sometime later. The ID was found to be fake and the checking account number for the bank does not exist. Anyone with similar can contact Det. Robert O’Connell.

Det David Laplante of the Raynham provided information indicating that the suspect was a Francine Grimes of Fitchburg, MA. Store manager from Bose picked Grimes out of a photo array. Warrant has been sought for Grimes.
