On 04/16/2005, two women and a child entered Shaw’s in Auburn, Massachusetts and swindled a sales associate out of $360.00. One of the females has been positively identified as, Walentina Knapek. Refer to 05-317-OF. Walentina Knapek has an extensive criminal history for theft type offenses and is classified as a multi-state offender. Knapek has been criminally charged and has convictions in Colorado, Maryland, Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, Montana, Tennessee, Indiana, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Florida. Knapek is wanted and has outstanding warrants in several states including Massachusetts. Knapek has approximately forty different aliases, dates of birth and social security numbers. Knapek has a last known address of 4932 Chane Street, Skokie, Illinois, however other criminal investigators told me that Knapek has not resided there in a number of years. On Saturday, May 28, 2005, Knapek was featured on America’s Most Wanted to assist the above-mentioned agencies and states to apprehend Knapek.
