On 01/06/06 at approximately 530 pm unknown darker skinned male, possibly hispanic in mid 20's wearing gray fleece coat, gray hooded sweatshirt under fleece, dark blue or black winter cap with white/red stripe and faded blue jeans and having scruffy face possible goatee entered the Shell Station mart at 271 Boston Turnpike (Rt. 9). Male waited in line until store was empty. Asked the female clerk for change for $1. Upon the cash drawer opening, male leaned over counter grabbing female on a cast which she had from previous injury, pushed her aside and removed several hundred dollars from the drawer. The male then exited the same door her entered on the west side of building and fled on foot east bound. Unknown if vehicle was involved.

This individual has been identified and arrested by the Worcester Police DB. His name is Ernesto O. Santiago of Worcester. Mr. Santiago is connected to several other robberies in Worcester, Shrewsbury and possibly Framingham. Investigation is on going.
