On 12-19-2005, white male using the name William Stevens DOB:03/29/68, checked into North Shore Medical center in Salem. Stevens was admitted for chest pain. Stevens checked himself out of hospital on 12/21/2005. On 12/22/2005 it was learned that several credit cards and id's along with cash were taken from Mr Gilson who was Stevens roommate. During the time of the theft Gilson was out of the room. Several charges were made in Salem , Lowell and Malden. It was also learned at this time that the name given by Stevens was false. Stevens may be a plumber in the Saugus Ma area. He also may have taken a recent fishing trip to Alaska. Stevens may also have some type of tattoo ( rope or tribal) on one of his arms.

Suspect has been identified as William Penney. There are active warrants in MA and NH for him. New photo available.
