At 1:50 PM on March 9, 2006 the Chelsea Groton Bank, 116 West Broad Street, Pawcatuck, Connecticut was robbed. Witnesses described the robber as a white male, approximately 5' 10" to 6'0" tall, late twenties to early 30's, weighing 150 to 170 pounds, brown hair, wearing blue jeans and a black and white plaid insulated shirt. He had a dark colored bandana covering his face, a pair of dark colored sunglasses and a light colored stocking cap. The male entered the bank and demanded money from the tellers. No weapon was shown. The male left the bank walking east on West Broad Street. Any one with information is asked to call Stonington police at 860-599-7552. All calls will remain confidential.
