This was an armed robbery of a Sovereign Bank. The robber approached a customer service rep. and inquired about opening a savings account. He left, then l returned and passed a note demanding cash. He passed a "Subway" clear plastic bag with the note. He was seen entering a grey 90-91 Subaru Legacy.

Subject is identified as John P. "JP" GRENIER of Northbridge, Ma. was arrested on Thursday June 08, 2006, subsequently charged with Conspiracy and Armed Robbery of Sovereign Bank, Bellingham on May 17, 06.
