An armed robbery occurred on Saturday November 12th. The subject intimidated the clerk into purchasing a pack of Newport cigarettes for him. He told the clerks that he had a gun and then he came around the counter, shoved the clerk, and took additional packs of cigarettes off the shelf. The subject spent a significant amount of time in the store talking to the clerks prior to the incident. During that time the clerk saw a firearm tucked in the subject’s waistband. The suspect mentioned ties to the Pawtucket, RI area and also talked about being stabbed in the past.
