A motor vehicle that had been parked at the Renaissance Hotel on the Middlesex Turnpike on 09/12/06 at 9:00 P.M. was discovered to have been broken into. Missing from the vehicle was a credit card, a personal check in the amount of $450.00 and misc. forms of ID. Stolen card was used at 9:22 P.M. at the Burlington Mobil station on Bedford Street where suspect purchased 2 cartons of cigarettes. Card was also used at Wendy's restaurant in Burlington. Suspect was described by station clerk as a white male, appx. 30 years old with a Fumanchu moustache and having a "Fat Belly". No vehicle was seen by the store clerk.

Suspect has been positively identified as Christopher C. Reed with addresses in Wilmington, Lowell & Billerica. Reed is currently being held at the Billerica HOC and has admitted to the offenses. Thanks to Burlington PD for assistance with the identification.
