On Tuesday, January 16, 2018 At approximately 11:54am The Middleton Police Department had been dispatched to Salem Five Bank, 104 South Main Street (Route 114) for a robbery in progress. A demand note was handed over and the suspect had threatened to shoot the teller and he was able to take a large amount of cash. - Conflicting reports if the subject was on foot or had left in a motor vehicle and the area was searched extensively. Suspect is described as white male, 5’8, dark hair, light facial hair, wearing a black wool hat and gray hooded sweatshirt.
