On October 4, 2018 Billerica Police responded to CVS 203 Boston Rd Billerica, MA for a person attempting to purchase gift cards in which the transaction was declined. Suspect came into store and approached the register to purchase four Lowe's gift cards and two Hallmark gift bags for the total of $2007.00 dollars. The suspect attempted to pay with a credit card and inserted it into the chip reader. The card was declined. The man took out another credit card to pay with. The second card was declined as well.
