On 7/25/2018, an unknown individual shipped a package via FedEx from Dedham, MA to Trinidad and Tobago. The suspect declared the contents as "Household appliances". This package was later intercepted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers in Puerto Rico after an inspection revealed various live reptiles hidden inside. This activity was in violation of the Endangered Species Act.
