On the above date at about 8:14am WPD responded to Jalapenos Grill (960 Main St) to investigate a B&E in progress. The suspect fled on foot and was able to evade capture. Invest. revealed that the suspect entered the closed business through an unlocked front door, walked behind bar, and concealed a bottle of liquor. An employee confronted the suspect before he was able to flee and the suspect abandoned the bottle. The same male suspect attempted to steal the same liquor bottle the on previous day at about 8:00am. The suspect was described as a black male, about 5’9”, early 70’s and wearing glasses, a dark colored hoodie, and a red shirt underneath.
