1. On Monday July 9th, 2019 at approximately 0908 hours, the BR/VCTF along with Detectives from Boston P.D. responded to a bank robbery at the Berkshire Bank located at 1320 Washington St., Boston. 2. A male subject(UNSUB) entered the bank, and approached the victim teller. UNSUB brandished a black semiautomatic firearm in a threatening manner, and handed the teller a blue "hard hat" style construction cap along with a demand note. The teller handed the UNSUB an unknown amount of US currency. The UNSUB took back the hard hat, and fled the bank on foot. 3. UNSUB was seen on video surveillance and also described by the victim tellers as a black male, medium build, approximately 5’7”, dark colored bandana/scarf covering his head, black sunglasses, what appeared to be tape over his nose, a white sweatshirt with the words “BREAKING NEWS" on the front, blue jeans, black gloves with white writing on them, a backpack, tan work boots, and carrying a black semiautomatic firearm.
