On 08/05/2019 at approximately 20:08 hours, an individual applied for and obtained a Macy’s credit card in the name of Paul McNiff, Shrewsbury resident. At the Auburn Macy’s, the suspect purchased clothes for the amount of $1,791.49. Macy’s video surveillance system crashed and that this video footage is no longer available. Macy’s Asset Protection told me that on the next day, 08/06/2019 at 4:59 PM the merchandise that was purchased at Auburn, Macy’s was returned to Macy’s in Boston, Massachusetts. The suspect received gift cards for the returned merchandise. Attached is an image of the suspect in Macy’s, Boston, Massachusetts.
