At approximately 12:46 PM, a lone white male subject entered the Sovereign Bank located at 487 Harvard Street in Brookline. The subject robbed the bank using a demand note and then fled on foot. As he fled, the subject was observed discarding his jacket and donning a red baseball cap. The subject was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, a white shirt and brown pants. He was observed entering a taxi cab in the vicinity of the CVS Pharmacy near Commonwealth Avenue and Harvard Street.

An individual was arrested on 07/19/07 for a robbery in Boston and confessed to numerous other robberies, including this one. The subject was described as a white male, in his mid 30's to early 50's, approximately 6'0" tall, with a thin to average build. He wears eyeglasses and is either balding or has shaved his head. His hair color is possibly salt and pepper. This subject is also suspected of recent bank robberies in Boston, East Boston and Cambridge.
