Female victim in her mid-thirties was jogging on Nelson St. in the area of Nelson Park when she was approached by a white male subject said to be in his mid-thirties. This subject described as having a large build with blonde hair, was wearing a red -tshirt and blue shorts. He approached the female and assaulted her, striking her in the head with a steel bar, which could have been a crowbar, prybar, or tire iron. The victim was able to run to a nearby home to summon help. The suspect is believed to have fled the area in a gray Ford Taurus which was well maintained and detailed.
