Incident occurred at Lord & Taylor located at the Burlington Mall. An Asian male was observed via CCTV by Loss Prevention officers concealing several pair of expensive jeans ($760) into a Macy's bag. As the suspect exited the store into the parking lot, loss prevention officers attempted to apprehend him. During the apprehension the suspect revealed a knife and stabbed one of the officers. The officer was stabbed in the hand as he attempted to deflect the knife away from his upper torso. The officer was transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment.
