On Sunday April 20, 2008 at 2:21 P.M. the Bedford Police Department investigated the reported larceny of a customer's purse in the Whole Foods parking lot at 170 The Great Road. The customer had been loading her groceries into her car when the suspect walked by and removed the purse from the shopping cart and fled on foot. Witnesses described the suspect as a clean shaven white male, approximately 25 years old, 5'10" tall, thin build with brown hair and dark eyes. The suspect was wearing a two tone brown/tan baseball cap, a dark hooded sweatshirt and jean shorts. The suspect ran down a path behind the shopping center and was last seen entering a Salmon colored two door Toyota Camry operated by unknown person. No registration number obtained by witness.
