On October 16, 2008 at 0307 hours, two armed males (one white – one black) entered the CVS at 676 Southbridge Street and robbed the store at gunpoint. Both suspects entered the store with hooded sweatshirts and a plastic shield (basketball face mask) over their faces. They both brandished handguns and had the workers proned-out during the robbery. They opened all three safes in the pharmacist’s quarters, stealing Percocet and Oxycontin pills. They also stole the pharmacist’s duffel bag, which contained his personal cellular phone and $300 dollars in cash. As the suspects started to exit the store, they stole several cartons of Marlboro cigarettes at the front cash register before fleeing the building.

We have identified both robbery suspects and have arrest warrants in hand. Both suspects are at large and are considered armed and dangerous. Jose Rivera-Velazquez 79 North Street, Worceter MA DOB 07/07/1987 and Tong Tran 81 North Street, Worcester MA DOB 08/18/1990. This department can supply updated photos upon request.
