Occurred on 2/17/09 at 1210 hours at the Central Bank in Arlington. White male entered the bank while talking on the cell phone and approached the teller to whom he gave a note demanding cash. Note was well written. He stayed on the cell the entire time he was in the bank. The teller has only been employed for two weeks, and left the counter to give the note to the manager, who was in the main part of the bank. The suspect was watching this, and left the bank when the teller came around the counter and talked to the manager. He left without any money and ran across the parking lot to a side street where a white 4 door Jeep with roof racks was parked and he jumped in the passenger side. The Jeep took off at high speed headed toward the Mystic Valley Parkway. Unknown what direction it fled Arlington when they reached the Parkway. Suspect is 5-9 to 5-10, thin face with blue eyes, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt under a bulky bleu and red Red Sox jacket. He was wearing a baseball hat under the hood. The Red Sox jacket had a large Red Sox logo on the back. Similar to the Winchester bank robbery . See attached photos.
