On 05/28/09 an armed robbery took place at the 7-11 Convenience Store, Washington Street, Braintree. The suspect entered the store and brandished a black handgun, demanding money from the clerk. The suspect placed a black backpack, with a gray horizontal stripe across the front pocket, on the counter and demanded the clerk put the money in the bag. Suspect fled on foot, unknown if a suspect motor vehicle was involved. Suspect is described as follows: white male, approximately 5'11", medium build, black long-sleeve shirt, dark pants, black ball cap, tan boots/shoes and dark bandana over his face. The Braintree PD is seeking information regarding the suspect's identification or similar incidents.
