On Wednesday 02/10/2010 at approximately 11:45 hrs a bank robbery occurred at the Eastern Bank, 445 Main St. in Wakefield, Ma. The suspect entered the bank and passed a note to a teller demanding money. Suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

The male suspect attempted to disguise himself as a female. The suspect was a white male, possible late 20’s, approximately 6’2 with a slim build.

Suspect was wearing a long gold woman’s head scarf with floral design. The scarf was tied around his head and gathered at the back of his head. Dark colored hair was showing from under the scarf.

Suspect was wearing a black turtleneck shirt under a white zippered, hooded sweatshirt and darker green or gray pants. Suspect was wearing dark colored sneakers with a bright white trim at the sole.

Suspect was wearing large, dangling earrings on each ear, large dark sunglasses and black gloves. He was carrying a dark colored bag, possibly a handbag. Suspect was wearing bright white makeup on his face and bright red lipstick.

On Tuesday November 22, 2011 an arrest was made on this case. Patrick Oconnell of Arlington MA was arrested for robbery and larceny.
