On 3/26/10 the patrols and detectives responded to Ayer Rd. Citgo for a reported larceny of a wallet from a vehicle while the owner was inside the station. We were able to obtain video depicting a dark colored Chrysler minivan, possibly dark blue or black, ( plate not visible) parked next to victims vehicle at the pumps. The pictured suspect actually engages victim in conversation and clearly notices the wallet on the front seat. The suspect then enters the store and pays for gas with a couple dollar bills and a handful of change. The suspect then returns to the rear driver’s side sliding door and sits inside. Seconds after the victim enters the station the suspect jumps from the rear seat and opens passenger door and takes the wallet.

The victim was quick to cancel debit cards, but the wallet contained his rent of $600.00 cash. The bank reported the card was attempted to be used within approximately 5 minutes from the theft. Going on the fact that the suspect paid for his gas in change I reviewed video at Archer’s Mobil in Ayer as well. It would appear the same minivan pulled up to the pumps (again plate not visible) and a female exited and went in the store to purchase some items. She paid in cash and exited and the minivan pulled away.

Looking for anyone with similar incidents or that can ID the suspect.
