Suspect stated he had a gun - no gun shown/observed - Wanted by Warwick Police Department for Bank Robbery: White male, 30-40 years of age, 5'10" - 6'00" tall, approximately 280 lbs., large belly, dark brown or black hair cut short above the ears, wearing a cowboy hat with sunglasses placed where the band is usually, long sleeve denim shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers. Suspect was carrying a canvas type briefcase, color black with gray trim.

On May 27, 2010 at about 1:04 PM suspect entered the Pawtucket Credit Union, 3319 Post Road (Apponaug) branch and asked for a manager. Upon meeting with the manager, the robber stated that he had a gun and demanded money. No gun was actually shown. The man then fled the bank on foot. No car was observed.

This appears to be the same suspect who robbed a Tewksbury bank in case 100334. br> I was notified by Detective McKnight, Warwick Police, suspect was arrested before robbing another bank in Maine: IDENTIFIED & CAPTURED: 07/15/2010 - Subject was arrested in Orono, Maine, subsequent to another bank robbery- Identified as Robert C. Ferguson, DOB 11/30/1962 out of Lowell, Massachusetts.
