Rite Aid, Walpole St. in Norwood 06/22/10,18:43hrs, attempted robbery.

Suspect WM, 50-60yrs, older male with gray sideburns. 5’9”-5’10”

Suspect was walking with a cane in left hand and limped. Suspect had gauze wrapped around his head covering his left eye, and gauze over his nose. The suspect passed a demand note for narcotics. This suspect has robbed Pharmacy's in Cumberland R.I., Attleboro Ma., Plainville Ma. with similar M.O. Possible get away vehicle described as a red colored Mitsubishi Eclipse with louvered tail lights and a chrome gas door as get away car or possibly a red Hyundai Tiburon. A second suspect is involved. The second male described as a white male late twenties early thirties, 5’5” medium build 180 lbs.

Suspect ID as Derek Begley 3/29/70. He is suspected in several pharmacy robberies in R.I., Norwood, Plainville, Attleboro, Milford. In custody thanks to tips from MMW and Fox 25 News.
