At approx. 2319 hrs a hispanic or cape verdian male, described as being 5'8" thin build around 17 yrs of age wearing a large black hooded sweatshirt, black bandana on his face, dark colored jeans and carrying a large machete (sword) entered the Hess Gas Station on Rt.44 in Raynham. He then demanded all of the money in the register and threatened the two clerks on duty. After taking the money and register drawer he fled out the front of the store and around back. Most likely to an awaiting vehicle. Suspect may be same as suspect in earlier robbery that day in Bridgewater.

Suspect has been identified as Jeremias Sarante of Raynham. He has been charged with this robbery and another in West Bridgewater.
