Two females entered a car dealership and attempted to sell a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee. SP told manager vehicle had no lien and produces a real MA title. The Dealer issued a check for $32850.00. Vehicle later revealed that a phony title clearance sheet from NY was used at NY DMV to obtain a NY title. Vehicle was later titled in MA under a phony name of Joyce M Marrero-Cintron. This MA title was given to dealer and dealer issued check. Check cashed minutes later at a Newton Citizens Bank. Appears to be one of many similar crimes happening in NY as well as MA.
