On November 19, 2010, at approximately 10:55 PM, two females, ages 18 and 19, were the victims of an Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon while on board an Orange Line train.

While the train was traveling in between Malden Center and Sullivan Square Station, the victims were approached by a male who made homophobic and racial slurs toward the victims, kicked them, spat on them, and fled in an unknown direction.
