On 12/04/2010 at 2020hrs officers responded to Veronica’s Convenience Store Main St (West End)for a report of an armed robbery involving 2 Hispanic males one with a sword. The suspects had on dark colored hooded sweat shirts or jackets. The one with a sword or machete had a Yellow hood or hat under his dark hood and jeans with large back pockets with brighter colored stitching on the pockets. The other had a dark nit hat under his hood. Upon being confronted by the clerk with a small broom while he called the police the suspects fled the store on foot.

The suspect was arrested along with a second suspect after attempting to rob another convenience store in Waltham. Later admitted to committing additional armed robbery attempt and armed robbery of convenience stores in Waltham.
