On the above date and time, a W/M approximately 5'8 to 5'11, wearing a tan scally cap with a gray jacket, passed a counterfeit U.S. $20 note.

When he was confronted, and told the police would be notified, he stated it was his friends' note and fled the store. As he left the store, he got into a struggle with a customer and left without his jacket, hat and the fraudulent $20 note. We recovered the items.

He fled in a white Jeep Cherokee with a plate that did not belong to the vehicle.

Detective Ball reports they have ID'd the above person as Alex Tramontozzi of Mendon.
