Victim and his wife were pushed into a laundry room while approaching their apt door. The two suspects brandished handguns and attempted to rob the victims. During a struggle over one of the guns, the victim was shot in the head. The suspects, described as Dominican males in their late 30's to 40's grabbed the car and apt keys from the wife. M/V was not taken. Victim was able to relay to us when asked who shot him that it was his two friends, and only provided a name Diaz before he went unconscious. The wife eventually provided a name of "Flaco" as the male who held her while the other suspect fought with her husband. Flaco has been identified as Juan C Montanez. Juan also goes by the name Danny Rodriguez and has been known to provide a number of other names. Juan has ties to Haverhill, Lawrence as well as the Dominican Republic. The victim is currently in a vegetative state. It is unknown at this time where the location of Juan is or the true identity of Diaz.
