Suspect described as being- a white male, mid 50’s in age, with a mustache, glasses, graying hair. He was wearing a varsity style black jacket with black leather sleeves and a black baseball cap with red and white letters on it.

No weapon was used or displayed and there were no injuries.

On 01/25/2011, shortly after 11:40 a.m. State Police Troop C received a bank alarm reporting a robbery had just taken place at the Savings Institute Bank located in the Eastbrook Mall in Mansfield, Connecticut.

Suspect entered the bank, approached a teller, and handed her a note demanding money. The suspect fled from the scene, entered a dark colored SUV - possibly a Ford Explorer.

Connecticut State Police are asking anyone who may recognize the suspect from the attached surveillance photos or anyone who may have seen anything suspicious before or immediately after the robbery are asked to call (860) 896-3200. All calls will be kept confidential.
