At 12:01pm the Medfield branch of the Middlesex Bank located at 459 Main st Medfield was robbed. The suspect entered the bank through the front door, approached a teller and passed a note. After receiving cash the suspect fled the bank out of the back door. No M.V. was observed. The suspect is described as a w/m, approx. 5'10" . He has brown hair which is partially tied back in a ponytail. He also has a mustache and a goatee. He was wearing a long sleeved dark colored top, blue jeans, sneakers and a dark colored knit cap with a brim.

Suspect matches the description of bank robberies which occurred in Foxborough, Easton and Saugus.

A taskforce involving police from Somerset, Foxboro, Medfield, Sandwich, and the FBI began working on the connected robberies. A tip was received after Somerset supplied its bank photos to the press. The tip identified the male by name. Investigators were able to locate the male and arrest him as he exited a bus in Raleigh, North Carolina.
