The Peabody Police Department is investigating a reported Bank Robbery at the 102 Lynn Street branch of Eastern Bank. At 1316 hours Peabody Police officers responded to 102 Lynn Street on a report of an Armed Robbery that had just occurred. A lone male subject, described as a white male with sunglasses, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, entered the bank brandishing a handgun. Subject fled on foot and possibly entered a cream colored, older model, Cadillac or Lincoln Continental leaving on Lynn Street towards Lynn.
