On Friday May 6, 2011 at approximately 6:50PM the Sovereign Bank located at 584 Washington St. Whitman was robbed. The suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a hand written note on an envelope. The suspect was identified on bank surveillance cameras as a black male wearing a white T-shirt with the Air Jordan logo over “JORDAN” in red letters. The suspect also had sunglasses up on his head over a black headwrap. The suspect is approximately 6’00”, 225LBS, thin moustache and goatee. Supect is in custody
