On 10/24/11 at approximately 5:00 p.m. the pictured suspect entered Sovereign Bank on Essex St. in Salem. He used the lobby desk to write something, possibly the note shown. The male went to the teller window and placed a shopping bag and note on counter. He removed a handgun and placed it on the counter. The teller handed the male money in the bag provided and the male took the bag and left the bank.

Suspect described at white male, medium build, 5'6-5'8, short hair, wearing a Red Sox hat with glasses on top.

Arrested in Lynn by Lynn Police. Confessed to bank robbery
