On Wednesday January 18, 2012 at approximately 2:30 PM the Seabrook Police responded to a bank robbery at Sovereign Bank located at 489 Lafayette Road. The suspect was described as a heavy-set white male with brown/light brown hair wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt or jacket and a New England Patriots baseball hat with a pink stripe on the visor, a new Patriots logo on the front, and possibly a breast cancer support ribbon on the back. The suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money. It is unknown whether or not the suspect is armed but based on the nature of the crime he should be considered dangerous.
