The East Providence Police Department is attempting to identify the pictured black male who robbed the TD Bank, 440 Newport Ave., East Providence.

The robbery occurred on Saturday, 6/2/12, at 1:15 PM.

The male suspect with a goatee and glasses robbed a teller at TD Bank using a demand note. he was wearing khaki pants, light colored hooded sweatshirt, black jacket, black sneakers and a NY Yankees baseball cap.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a gray 2008-2011 Mercury Mariner (same body style as a Ford Escape).

The robber responsible for our bank robbery has been identified and arrested. The get away vehicle has also been identified. In addition to our bank robbery he is also being charged in CT for robbing a TD Bank in North Haven CT on 6/27/12. He is from Hamden, CT. The vehicle is a 2008 Mercury Mariner registered to him in CT. Thank you very much for your assistance.
