Masked white male suspect entered Tedeschis Store, Union St., Rockland. Suspect showed what appeared to be a real grenade to clerks, demanded money from 2 cash registers. Suspect also asked for 1 pack of Camel no filter cigarettes. Suspect fled store, possibly on bicycle. Suspect dropped a white ball cap with green bill, with logo "Brickyard 400- Indianapolis Speedway- August 5, 1995" on front; 100 yards from store. Suspect also wore a green camouflage bandana over top of head and lime green bandana on face. Suspect described as white male, 6'+, medium build. Wearing brown outer shirt, tan cargo style pants.

RPD Detectives received several tips based on photos and videos submitted to media and MMW. Mark Whittles dob 02/26/1963 was placed under arrest on 10/02/2012. The grenade used in the armed robbery was also recovered.
