Stoneham police are investigating an armed robbery of the Stop n Save convenience store (427 Main St) that occurred on 10/30/12 at 8:59PM. Suspect entered store and pointed a black handgun at the clerk demanding the cash drawer. Clerk gave suspect entire drawer with cash which the suspect placed in a black bag. Suspect is described as being a white male, approximately 5’8” tall, wearing a black hat, black mask, black sweat shirt, black gloves, black running pants with a white stripe down the leg and black sneakers with white soles. No vehicle description available and an area check was conducted with negative results. Anyone with information is asked to contact Stoneham detectives. Note: Same suspect is believed to have also committed similar crimes in Woburn, Winchester and Melrose.

Suspect was identified as Taylor Goulding 8/20/93 from Stoneham and subsequently arrested. BB gun and items of clothing from robberies were located in suspect vehicle after arrest. Suspect confessed to robberies in Stoneham, Woburn, Winchester, Melrose and Reading. Contact Stoneham detectives for further info.
