Female suspect used three counterfeit $100 American Express Travelers Cheques to purchase a pair of "Dr. Dre Beats" headphones from Target. Suspect left Target in a dark colored SUV believed to be a Saturn Outlook.

Suspect, identified as Meghan Faria of Taunton, was arrested in N. Attleboro for passing counterfeit Travelers Checks. Faria is being charged with the same crime in Easton, and is also linked to similar crimes in Seekonk, Plainville, and Braintree. Faria would purchase items with the counterfeit checks and then return those items at another store location for cash back.
