On 01/11/13 at 1338 hrs. the Swansea Branch of the Bay Coast Bank located at 554 Wilbur Ave. was robbed. A male suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note. The note indicated that the bank was being robbed and demanded money. There was no weapon shown and no one was injured. The suspect then fled the bank across Wilbur Ave and onto Pine St..

The suspect is described as a White male in his early to mid twenties, about 5’5 thin to medium build possibly with light colored hair and a thin nose. The suspect was wearing a light colored baseball type hat under a gray hoodie, a gray and black winter coat, green sweatpants and his face was partially covered by a green/red/and yellow knit scarf.

The Swansea Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect from the attached. Anyone with information is asked to contact Ptlm. Richard Gibeau of Det. Patrick Mooney

On 6/9/2013 Warren PD arrested Trevor Krous-Gaskell of Warren, RI. Krous-Gaskell was arrested after a joint investigation by Warren PD, Cranston PD, Swansea, Ma. PD, Connecticut State PD and local FBI linked him to bank robberies in the aforementioned communities
