On Tuesday, January 22, 2013, Ipswich Police received a call at 10:45 pm that two males, both brandishing knives and wearing masks robbed the Richdale Store. The males were seen fleeing on foot, unknown if a vehicle was involved, and an unknown amount of cash was taken along with a quantity of cigarettes.

The suspects were described as white males,one male was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and white gloves, and the second male was wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black gloves.

The 2 suspects both Ipswich residents were arrested on 02/15/13. The Ipswich Police would like to commend Bob Ward's MassMostWanted storyline that lead to the identification of the suspects, with assistance from the Gloucester Court Probation Department, and special assistance from the Commissioner of Probation Office Crime Scene Correlation Division
