The North Providence Police Department is attempting to identify a white male suspect who robbed the Citizens Bank, located at 1090 Charles Street. The robbery occurred at approx. 11:56 pm on Thursday 2/28/13.

A white male wearing a red Boston Red Sox knit hat, grey hooded sweat shirt and tan pants walked into the Citizens Bank located at 1090 Charles Street. The suspect handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect then brandished a knife. The teller complied and the man fled on foot with and undetermined amount of money. The suspect exited the bank and ran north towards Remington Street.

The male suspect was described as light skinned, medium build, about 5 foot 7 inches, and in his mid 20's to early 30's.
