On March 30, 2013 at 1147 hrs. the Swansea branch of Sovereign Bank located at 620 GAR Hwy, Swansea was robbed.

A male entered the bank, brandished a handgun and demanded cash. The male then fled the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.

No one was hurt in this incident, although several bank customers were inside at the time.

The suspect is described as 5’8 to 6’0 tall, medium build and was wearing a dark coat, dark hoodie, a dark knit type hat with a logo on the front, sunglasses, and a dark ski type mask covering the lower portion of his face. He was also wearing dark pants and dark shoes.

The suspect fled the bank on foot to a neighboring parking lot.
